Founded in 2019 by Francisco Barreiros Cardoso, BC Projects intents to support artists, collectors and art-related projects through curated collaborations that aim to promote and develop cultural dialogues. By fostering relationships between the artistic world and its audiences, we aim to assist in the transmission of the meaning of an act of creation to a wider public through a long-term strategic planning in the establishment of collections, private sales focused on post-war and contemporary art, and by introducing international emerging artists to a diverse intergenerational community.
Francisco Barreiros Cardoso is a Portuguese art dealer and curator based in London. Francisco started collecting modern and contemporary art at an early age, having studied Management at Nova School of Business and Economics, Curation at Central Saint Martins and Gallery Management at Sotheby's Institute of Art.
